In it's current issue, US supermarket tabloid, the "Globe" published a pro-Michael story which included details and pictures related to the spider bite the King of Pop endured last month during his millenium concert trial in Santa Maria. In the recently completed R&B/Hip-Hop Album of 2002 Poll, voted on by fans around the world on the Magazine Website, Michael recieved the majority of votes for his 'Invincible' album!
'Invincible' recieved 79% of the 29,705 votes from fans, choosing from their top 15 favourite albums of the year!
The closest competitors in the poll included Eminem's "The Eminem Show" with only 6% of the votes, Alicia Keys' "Songs in a Minor" with only 3% of the votes and Ashanti's "Ashanti", Musiq's "Juslisen", and Nas' "Stillmatic" recieving only 2% of the votes each!
Congrats to Michael and thanks to all the fans who made their vote!

According to recent reports, Michael has apparently finished working on a new song titled "Xscape".
Although there is little information released on this up-tempo dance track, it has been slated for a forthcoming project. We are trying to find out more information about this so keep checking back!
 
Invincible Facts from Australia
Michael Jackson's 2001 release appears on Australia's 2002 Year End Chart. He did very well for an album that didn't get much promotion! The listings are as follows:

Michael accepted special "Billboard Award"
 
Michael Jackson accepted his special "Billboard Award" via live satellite from his "Neverland Valley Ranch".
The King of Pop was given a special honour to commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Thriller", still the world's largest selling album in history.
Comedian Chris Tucker presented the award to Michael in the ranch. He and Michael had some laughs together, as the "Rush Hour" star jokingly asked Michael if he could hold onto the award for a few days and telling the superstar that he had plans on staying at "Neverland".
Michael thanked his friend Chris, "Billboard" Magazine and his fans. "I'm very honoured, very happy," Michael said. "I thank my fans around the world. I couldn't be me without you."
And even though the King of Pop wasn't in person to accept the award, the thunderous applause from the audience indicated that just a glimmer of the pop legend was enough to satisfy!
 
Bambi Awards - 21 Nov 2002
 
Michael Jackson triumphed at Germany's prestigious "Bambi Awards" on Thursday, 21st November. Before and after his acceptance speech for the 'Best Pop Artist of the Millenium' award, michael was given a standing ovation from a room full of celebrities and luminaries. The event, screened live German television, also featured the entire "What more Can I Give" video.

It appears controversy has followed Michael Jackson to Berlin. In the excitement and hysteria of it all, Michael introduced his children to his adoring fans who had been waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. Sadly, some fans were distressed and upset when Michael decided to hang baby Prince over his fourth floor balcony. Michael's actions have caused outrage and hysteria throughout the world.

Tommy Mattola Pack Your Bags!

FOX NEWS: The 14 year reign of Tommy Mattola at Sony Music is over. According to sources at Sony Music, where the phones have not stopped ringing, Mattola only found out he was leaving when he arrived this morning at 550 Madison. "He was told to go see Sir Howard Stringer, and when he got there they handed him a press release," a source said. Mattola was then given a couple of hours to clear out his office. A deal for a record label was, according to sources, Sony's resolution of the last year of his contract.
 
Thriller back in Australian Top 10

Michael Jackson's record breaking album "Thriller", has reentered the top 10 Urban Album Charts in Australia, followed closely by "Off the Wall" which has gone top 20 by entering at no. 20.
